Our Collegiate Program is one of the best ways to learn about what we do, why we do, and how we do it all! Each school will have one collegiate team with four different positions-each tackling a different skill-set and need. Take a look below to get a peak!
Marketing
Have a love for social media and marketing? So do we!
Learn how to best leverage your network and help spread awareness within your circle, school, community, and more within this role! You’ll be in charge of handling all social media, graphic design, and marketing for your collegiate team.
External Fundraising
Just as the name implies, within this role you’ll be focused on how to engage the community, local businesses, and other groups to help raise awareness about the water crisis and raise critical funds in the process!
Internal Fundraising
Not to be confused as the opposite of External Fundraising, Internal Fundraising also focuses on spreading awareness and raising funds. However, the difference is leading with an “internal” approach- you’ll be focusing on targeting both the collegiate team and your respective school. This means organizing campus fundraisers, Instagram fundraising challenges, and more.
Organizational Research and Writing
Where would we be if we didn’t have someone to help hype up all the hard work and effort put into the organization? That’s where you come in! When others on the team need an additional hand with the research process, you’ll be there to help out. Not only that, but you’ll be able to put your writing skills to the test by becoming a writer for Droplet’s very own blog!
Why just four members?
The Collegiate Program isn’t an extra-curricular club. Rather, think of it as a “mini” internship-where you’ll be dedicating five hours each week. We want the most excited and dedicated individuals to help reach our goals!
My school doesn’t seem to be a part of the Collegiate Program yet-but I want to join…what should I do?
No worries, we’d love to add new colleges to our list at the beginning of each semester! Just fill out an application form and we’ll get back to you regarding next steps.
I want to apply but not sure if anyone else from my college is applying to fill the other positions.
Similar to the last question, don’t stress about this too much. Just fill out an application form and list this as a concern in the questions section and we’ll be sure to address this once reaching back out to you!
