Frequently Asked Questions

How long are internships?

  • Depending on the role available, you’ll get to work either part-time or full-time for one semester (roughly four months). If you decide to intern for Droplet longer, that time frame may change.

Can I apply for more than one internship role?

  • If there are multiple internship positions open at once, feel free to apply to as many as you’d like! However, you’ll only be able to work internship position at a time.

  • If you decide to intern again at Droplet, you may have the opportunity to work on a different internship position!

Do I get paid?

  • Droplet Water Project is currently a 100% volunteer-run organization. However, we understand that it can be a luxury to accept an unpaid internship position. This is why if you apply for an internship here at Droplet, our Executive team can provide you with resources and tips on how to get external funding during your internship. A majority of our interns have received monetary compensation and/or an academic stipend for their time and effort.

  • In addition, you may be eligible to receive college credit for your time spent here at Droplet Water Project.
